What is Cledara Spend?

Cledara Spend is an extension of Cledara, a powerful tool designed to help SMEs control, manage, and account for all their corporate spending. It simplifies financial processes by providing visibility into company spending, offering cards, and integrating seamlessly with popular accounting systems like Xero, QuickBooks, and NetSuite.

How can I sign up for Cledara Spend?

Cledara customers can activate Cledara Spend at no additional cost. If you’re not a Cledara customer, then you must create an account first. Book a demo to learn more.

How many physical cards are included in each plan?

Cledara Spend offers 30 free cards in every plan, and additional cards can be added for a one-time fee.

Are virtual cards also included in the plan?

Cledara Spend offers 10 free virtual cards in the following countries: Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. More countries will be added soon.

Where can I use Cledara Spend cards?

Cledara Spend cards are powered by Visa, so you can use them anywhere where Visa is accepted.

Can Cledara Spend integrate with accounting systems?

Yes. Currently, Cledara Spend integrates with Xero, QuickBooks, and NetSuite.

Can employees add Cledara Spend cards to mobile wallets?

Not yet. We’re working to bring this feature soon to your devices.

Can you make reimbursements with Cledara Spend?

Not at the moment. Currently, employees can make payments using a Cledara Spend card, and use the mobile app to upload receipts.

Can you add your own expense policies with Cledara Spend?

While you can flag out-of-policy expenses, adding general policies like meal allowances or travel limits are not yet available.

Where is Cledara Spend available?

Cledara Spend is only available for businesses located in the UK and the EEA (European Economic Area), with plans to expand to the US soon.

Do I need the app to use Cledara Spend?

We recommend the app to scan and upload receipts. Essentially, manage expenses on the go. But you don’t need it to enjoy Cledara Spend. You can access it from your regular Cledara dashboard.

Where can I download the app?

You can download the Cledara app from the App Store if you have an iOS device or Google Play Store if you have an Android device.
