Cledara Limited (“Cledara”), a groundbreaking purchase and analytics platform for the subscription economy, has appointed Oscar Hackett to lead sales across the UK and Europe. Following the recent $3.4 million investment by Nauta Capital, Anthemis and Eric Nadalin, Hackett joins Cledara at an important time as the company focuses on expanding its commercial organisation and continuing the fast growth achieved by the company in 2020. Hackett will spearhead the sales organisation in the company’s existing UK and European markets.

Hackett brings significant experience from the technology industry, with an extensive background of sales to venture-backed startups around the world. Prior to joining Cledara, he led sales teams at SaaStock, Europe’s largest and most successful SaaS Industry Conference. Based in London, he will report to Cledara’s COO and Co-Founder, Brad van Leeuwen.

This follows a very successful period for Cledara, having recently closed the largest seed round in 2020 for a female-founded fintech in the UK and being named among the 2020 Fintech50 alongside companies including Revolut, Monzo and Railsbank.
